Dharashiv, formerly known as ‘Osmanabad’, is known for its historical significance and BEAG has been involved in the conservation and protection of Naldurg Fort.

BEAG continues to challenge the custodian’s maintenance of the fort which is in total violation of the adoption policy for the forts, Maharashtra Vaibhav State Protected Monuments Conservation Scheme, 2007.

BEAG has successfully dealt with the issue of quarrying within the ESZ of the Yedshi Ramling Ghat Wildlife Sanctuary and the violators have been booked under the Environmental Protection Act, 1986 (EPA).
