Based on a complaint received in 2023, from a local about blasting as a method for construction of wells in the ESZ, BEAG conducted a site visit and raised this issue with the Collector, Satara, as it was in complete violation of the ESZ Notification.

Our persistent follow ups with the concerned authorities, led to the stopping of using blasting as a method for construction of wells in the ESZ.
